About "Uwajima Dance Festival"

What is it?

On Monday, October 9th 2023, a public holiday in Japan, there will be a charity dance festival for all genres. The festival will take place at Uwajima Kisaia Plaza starting at 10 a.m. All genres are welcome to participate in the dance performances.

Who Organizes the Event?

Run by an amazing couple, Takashi & Miyuki, this event is managed by the same duo behind the Uwajima Hawaiian Festival, a decade-long hit with over 100,000 attendees!

Check further more for their Facebook page for the Uwajima Hawaiian Festival.

Why CSTOYS?

Before starting our toy business in 2005, the owner and director of CSTOYS International, Masaki Seike, volunteered as a translator for the Ehime-Hawaii Youth Baseball Tournament. This tournament aimed to establish and foster friendship between Ehime and Hawaii after the tragic incident involving the Ehime-Maru in Feb. 2001. (For more details, see Wikipedia's article on 'Ehime Maru and USS Greeneville collision').

We open our booth at this event and donate our toys for Maui because we have many customers and friends in Hawaii, and we want them to know that we care for them. We have a faith that any super hero toys can and should contribute the peace we all hope in our hearts.

Will there be a live-streaming program?

Yes! CSTOYS is preparing for the live-streaming show at our YouTube Channel, and be introduced as we are ready! Join us for the fun and Support Maui!
